Rick "Comrade" enjoyed his Beef Stroganoff that I made for him so much that he took me over to his Starfighter '69 matching blue Camaro.

Now that "Comrade" is working with NASA he's in town more frequently.  Armando, Chef/Owner of Mar Azul treated Rick and his crew and fans (us) to a great dinner on the last evening of April.

Since this photo and our last wonderful evening at Mar Azul, Armando the talented and generous and beautiful soul was killed while driving his motorcycle. May his soul rest in peace and his family learn to deal with their loss and know that the Lord had his reason for taking him at such an early and unexpected time.

Then, we hopped into my DodgeTruck and headead to the Tampa area to put the order in for our new cards.  Why that far?  Because I love driving my Dodge and these guys at Desco ate the BEST.  You don't really have to go there to put your order in.  You can order on line at www.DescoPrinting.com I just like feeding the guys.  They work better that way. Or so they tell me.Jockmo barely got in the shot with Jim, ChefLarry, Tim and Chris

With many luminaries in attendance, we were lucky to snag a couple of the favorite "stars" of the Starry Night Gala.  These two took time from the evening's schedule of lecturing and entertaining to join ChefLarry's RADIO GRILL's LIVE 3-hour broadcast.  Famed archaeologist, Rachael Wentz, PhD,RPA shared her amazing stories of the Windover dig on display at the museum.  Then Ash Reeder, the man who please the croud with his Fiddle and Tropical Steel Drum broke away with his cajun tunes on his authentic Acadian accordian.

Webmaster extrodinaire, David N. Rich is another delightful guest. ....and then there was the FOOD!

ChefLarry topped his Bob's Red Mill Homemade Flaxseed toast points with beautiful hydroponic tomatoes from Ranch Haven in Geneva, FL.  He also offered Shrimp cakes on Romaine and his Beef and Lamb Lollipops were a crowd pleaser.  Other Brevard restaurants donated food, includiing The Green Turtle, Cafe Margo, Fabulous 50's Diner, to mention a few.

There are a lot of things that made my Chicago trip worthwhile, however nothing topped the joy of seeing my life-long friend, Joe Yonan and his beautiful family. I fed them at Uptown Bar and Grill and we chatted for hours..

Then, a few days later Joe and I met up with our buddy, Al at Reza's on Clark Street in Chicago.
