I discovered Uncle John's Pride in Tampa.  Kevin and the Crofton family make an outstanding sausage - in flavors, too.  I hope you get a chance to try it.  Check out the Crofton and Sons website and see where you can buy it.  You can order on line, too.  My personal favorite is Italian and Gwen loves the blueberry, yes blueberry sausage.  As far as I know, you can get it at Sweetbay and the Italian and others are available at Winn-Dixie. This the friendly Kyra who'll take care of your order at the Crofton & Sons Pick-up reception area in Tampa.

Flan and Cappucino El Leoncito Style Its beautiful and delicious.  I, along with everyone in Titusville agrees that this is the BEST MEXICAN CUISINE in the area.  The location is perfect, overlooking the Indian River and the Cape (great for launches), the service is the best and the food is really, really GOOD!  The day we did our RADIO GRILL remote we were so busy EATING the GREAT FOOD that we forgot to take pictures of the entrees until we took a break and the exquisite Flan and PERFECT CAPPUCINO were served.

Dixie Crossroads

This is the place to find the best hushpuppies you'll ever taste.  The Rock Shrimp and White Shrimp are great, too - done any way you like them prepared.  Great, friendly staff, as well.  This is a perfect Florida experience.

This is a great place for breakfast in a great location.  Their homemade rye toast is absolutely the best.  Their Eggs Benedict Specials are indeed special and their variety of Skillet Egg dishes are superb.  The servings are HUGE.  We don't mind the drive all the way from Titusville - every Sunday.  Tell their personable and talented owners, Sonya and Luigi Fusco that ChefLarry sent you.

It is no secret I love movies and my favorite place to see 1st run releases (on opening day or shortly thereafter) is the Searstown UA Regal Cinema on Hwy 1 in Titusville.

Mr. Moy's restaurant, Kow Kow has been in business longer than I've been alive.  In 60 years they have truly perfected their craft.  Kow Kow

at 6755 North Cicero in Lincolnwood, Illinois is a MUST.  I'm sure you'll agree that it is the one of thebest, if not THE BEST Chinese restaurant you've ever been to. It was a small place at the corner of my block when I grew up and now they have moved to beautiful big space a few miles away.  They still do take-out and if you're in the area do yourself a favor and get some

As I've mentioned on the show, I was in Chicago starting December 14th.  I touched down at 11:00 AM and before I got too far, Marjorie and Walter wisked me off to breakfast at one of their favorite places, The Sunrise Grill in DesPlaines on Touhy Avenue.  I ate breakfast and decided that the food was prepared by a real pro.  As I suspected, Jose the owner had worked at many prestigious places - The SwissHotel and Four Seasons, to mention only two.  Without hesitation we made reservations to return for dinner.  Jose and his partner, German Rivera operate in a small strip mall in an out of the way location, however the food is OUTSTANDING.  If you're in the Chicago area, do yourself a favor and check out the Sunrise Grill.  Here are a few pictures we snapped with my cell phone. 

This is Jose Medina with another exceptional dish.  With the right venue, I predict that Jose could become one of the top chefs in the entire Chicagoland area.

And dessert was exceptional...the BEST Pumpkin Marscapone Cheesecake I ever had and my Sister-In-law,  Marjorie the professional baker totally agrees.

If you are Chicago and don't go to the "dawgs" I wont' be responsible for your loss.  Superdawg at the corner of Devon and Milwaukee Avenues is a true Chef Larry favorite, for as long as I can remember - and they're STILL GREAT.

 Upon my return from Chicago, Gwen informed me that Jockamo has been missing me in the worst way and has been just laying and digging in our Titusville "sand" yard.  He needed a bath in the worst way.  Jockamo is strong, very strong, with lots and lots of hair and needs more than the yard hose to come clean.  Maybe it was the "chef dog" on the building that attracted us, but anyway we ended up at Paw Park Place 
at 315 South French Avenue (Hwys 17/92) in Sanford.  What a Great Place to Come Clean - very, very CLEAN!
Jockamo knew that the General Manager, Christine Winkelman took a liking to him.  She showed us the ropes, then Gwen and I proceeded to wash, and wash and wash Jockamo. He  LOVED HIS BATH!!
