_____________________________________________________We have great memories of our RADIO GRILL shows on WPIO fm. One Sunday at 6:15pm, Season 8 top scoring American Idol, Ricky Braddy performed LIVE from the First Christian Church at JayJay and Old Dixie Highway in Titusville. And what a concert it was! We caught it all on WPIO 89.3FM.

This Randy Henry and ChefLarry congratulating Rick Comrade Svetkoff after a brilliant "fly-by" as we captured the sounds and excitement on our Sharathon broadcast from the TICO WARBIRD MUSEUM. Comrade, along with more thrilling flight demonstrations will join this year's Warbird Air Show. He's the owner of four F-104 Starfighter jets and is the lead
Rick "Comrade" enjoyed his Beef Stroganoff that I made for him so much that he took me over to his Starfighter '69 matching blue Camaro.
Now that "Comrade" is working with NASA he's in town more frequently. Armando, Chef/Owner of Mar Azul treated Rick and his crew and fans (us) to a great dinner on the last evening of April.
Since this photo and our last wonderful evening at Mar Azul, Armando the talented and generous and beautiful soul was killed while driving his motorcycle. May his soul rest in peace and his family learn to deal with their loss and know that the Lord had his reason for taking him at such an early and unexpected time.
We were back broadcasting from the WARBIRD MUSEUM for their Memorial Day Weekend Open House.
ChefLarry reunites with Warbird pilot, Ken Terry
POW, Bill Abbott signs a copy of his Blood Runs Red White and Blue book to Ken Terry.
Gwen captures a photo of official WARBIRD photographer, Phyliss

Terry Yon, Col.(Ret), brought THE TOP GUNS to our Friday RADIO GRILL show at the Tico Warbird Airshow.
What a treat to have the top "Dog" of this year's show, Major George W. "Dog" Clifford take time to come on before his brilliant display of flying that concluded each day's show.
Gwen never met a G.W she did not like!
Here is ChefLarry in the plane that he flew in and did a full hour of the 4-hour RADIO GRILL show LIVE from the Tico Airshow, while Gwen was at command central in our broadcast booth.
Warbird Museum Director of Operations, Ken Terry flew his plane, while ChefLarry narrated.
Here' Mike, a very talented volunteer getting this beauty ready for the Air Show in the Restoration Hangar
Mike Johns sells this flame extinguisher. Its a non-toxic foam and really works great. If you're interested in getting some, Mike Johns' e-mail address is on the official COLD FIRE website: www.southeasternfiresystems.com
ChefLarry gives NASA veteran, Sam Beddingfield a good laugh as he dons full astronaut gear.
SEE MORE PHOTOS OF OUR LAST BROADCAST THERE AT THE PARTIES and EVENTS tab.
Sam Beddingfield flew this beauty, he fondly calls "VooDoo" back in his days as a Test Pilot in North Carolina before he signed on to be among the first 30 people at NASA for the Mercury Launch. Sam claims that 1,200 MPH was no big thing - just part of the job. If you're lucky to attend the Warbird Museum on any Tuesday, Sam will show you around this wonderful, Titusville adventure.
Port Canaveral Commissioner, Ray Sharkey was brought to the RADIO GRILL at the Taste of Tiitusville by Bobby Socks in his "Taste" t-shirt.
ChefLarry topped his Bob's Red Mill Homemade Flaxseed toast points with beautiful hydroponic tomatoes from Ranch Haven in Geneva, FL. He also offered Shrimp cakes on Romaine and his Beef and Lamb Lollipops were a crowd pleaser. Other Brevard restaurants donated food, includiing The Green Turtle, Cafe Margo, Fabulous 50's Diner, to mention a few.
There are a lot of things that made my Chicago trip worthwhile, however nothing topped the joy of seeing my life-long friend, Joe Yonan and his beautiful family.
Then, a few days later Joe and I met up with our buddy, Al at Reza's on Clark Street in Chicago.
Randy Henry, the man who otherwise runs WPIO 89.3 FM played his 50's accordian and WOWed the crowd along the parade route.
and Randy played more to CELEBRATE their son and Matthew's brother, Jason's SUPRISE CHRISTMAS VISIT.
Matthew, Gwen, Carol, Randy, Accordian and Jason Henry at WPIO.
Randy put the accordian down as they ALL congratulated Jason on his upcoming wedding plans.
Titusville sparkled during the Christmas Season. We covered the 2008 Boat Parade at the Marina on Saturday, December 20th.
Don Noel, Marine Surveyor added to the LIVE broadcast with his knowledge of the vessels that passed us by while on parade
